The Myth: The Senate bill lives up to President Obama's long-standing promise to make health insurance more affordable for everyone.

The Fact: The Senate bill will actually make health insurance more expensive for many Americans. In fact, CBO has said that, under the Senate plan, premiums in the individual market will rise at least 10% to 13% more than if Congress did nothing. Family policies under the status quo are projected to cost $13,100 on average -- but under the Senate bill will jump to $15,200.

Don't be fooled: This legislation is bad policy. Tell Congress it's time to START OVER.
