A NJ judge refused to issue the permanent restraining order because under Sharia law, this Muslim husband had a “right” to rape his wife.  The trial court allowed the testimony of an Imam to be entered so that his account of Sharia’s standards could supercede the standards set by the New Jersey legislature.
